Rules - Premiership Rules

1. Any player from your club organization is allowed to play on the age appropriate team providing he is in good standing and not under suspension.

2. Game roster is limited to a maximum of 18 and a minimum of 15 players dressed and in uniform.  Failure to have minimum number, will result in a $100.00 fine per player.

3. Players are permitted to play for only 1 team per day.

4. No guest players.  All players must be registered with the club and league and in possession of a league sanctioned ID card.

5. Maximum non-playing personnel on the bench is 3.  All must be registered with the NISL.

6. Players and coaches receiving red cards for fighting will miss 2 games.  All other fines per NISL rules.  There will be an addition of accumulation of yellow cards in different games.

3 yellows = 1 game suspension (next game)
5 yellows = 2 game suspension (next games)
2 reds = out for the season.

7. There is no postponement of games by teams.  The only person permitting a reschedule will be for weather or ground condition and will be determined by the Schaumburg Park District.

8. All games are scheduled to begin on time.  There is no coin toss.  The home team is listed first on the schedule and will determine direction.  The visiting team is listed second on the schedule and will kick off.  Games are 2 x 40 minutes with a running clock.  Halves will finish on time.  There will be no extra time added.  There is no warm-up on the field.  The starting line-up is to be ready by game time

9. Line-up cards are due 15 minutes prior to kick-off.  Passes will be handed to the referee for him to keep until the game is over.  Each club is assigned an additional fee for linespeople of $245.00 for the season.  The league will pay the center referee and linespeople at the end of the season and completion of all paperwork, i.e. Game report sent to league office.

10. A) Substitution-no re-reentry during each half.  There is no substitution by the winning team in the last 5 minutes of the game.  If teams attempt to fake injury to permit substitution, the player will receive a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct.

10. B) Teams are permitted to substitute for players injured if they have used all players on the no entry rule.

10. C) Teams are permitted to have unlimited substitution when they have less than 15 players on their roster (reference fine-Rule 2).

11. Teams will forfeit games due to insuffient numbers of players and will be fined $300.00 per game.

12. All participating clubs/teams/organizations are expected to “Honor the Game”

    • Respect the Rules of Competition and the Game.
    • Respect the officials
    • Respect your opponents
    • Respect your teammates and the other team
    • Play in a sportsmanlike manner at all times
