The Northern Illinois Soccer League / N.I.S.L. was founded in 1975
as a competitive youth soccer league for Boys and Girls ages
U8 through U19.
It provides the day-to-day organizational structure for more
than 1,200teams in 86 Chicago area communities.

It is one of the largest youth soccer leagues in the state of Illinois
with over 1,800,000 people visiting the site per month.

US CLUB PLAYER REGISTRATION
WITHIN THE NISL FOR BOYS & GIRLS

LEAGUE PLAYER REGISTRATION.
The NISL will provide for Clubs, Teams, Players and Coaches the ability to register ON- LINE with NISL/ US Club Soccer to receive the benefits of playing in the NISL regular league games with teams ranked for home and away schedule, traveling out of state, attending tournaments and register and play in the NISL / US Club State Tournament - Northern Illinois Cup.

FEE: $33 per player 2009-10 Seasonal Playing Year.

Receive All the benefits associated with playing in the NISL Seasonal Year NISL / US Club Player ID Cards, Liability and Secondary Accident Insurance including Indoor Training, the ability to generate game and tournament rosters.

A FULL SERVICE soccer league organization and be eligible to participate in the NISL / US Club State Tournament- Northern Illinois Cup.

Participation in a Regular League Schedule depending upon age , number of games, level of play, will determine an additional fee to cover direct expenses.


CUP PLAYER REGISTRATION
The NISL will provide for Clubs, Teams, Players and Coaches the ability to register ON-LINE with NISL / US Club Soccer to receive benefits of traveling out of state, attending tournaments, and register to play in the NISL / US CLUB State Tournament - Northern Illinois Cup.

FEE: $20 per player 2009-10 Seasonal Playing Year.

Includes Seasonal Year NISL / US Club Player ID Cards. Secondary Accident Insurance including Indoor Training , the ability to generate an Official US Club Roster and be eligible to participate in the NISL / US Club State Tournament - Northern Illinois Cup.

The Northern Illinois Cup is administered by the NISL and provides an alternative to the traditional State Cup administered by the IYSA.

Participation takes place in the FALL for U14 to U18 Girls and in the SPRING for U9 to U18 BOYS and U9 to U14 GIRLS.

Format Consists: 1ST Round Group Play with 3 Games guaranteed leading into Double Elimination Tournament Play. Format available upon request.

Additional Team Entry Fee depending upon age is required.

Teams are not required to participate in league play to qualify for entry.


STANDARD PLAYER REGISTRATION
The NISL will provide for Clubs ,Teams, Players and Coaches the ability to register ON-LINE with NISL / US Club Soccer to receive the benefits of traveling out of state, attending tournaments etc.

FEE: $16 per player 2009-10 Seasonal Playing Year.

Includes Seasonal Year NISL / US Club Player ID Cards, Secondary Accident Insurance including Indoor Training and the ability to generate an Official US Club Roster.

    Seeding / Ranking Tournament. August. Elgin & Rockford
  • U8 to U12
    Regular League Play . Small Sided Games. September , October, November 2 weeks.
  • U12 to U14
    Regular League Play. 11 V 11 Games. September, October, November 2 weeks.
  • U13 & U14
    Premiership League Play. Top Teams compete at Schaumburg Olympic Park. September, October.

Spring 2010

  • Ages U8 to U12
    Regular League Play . Small Sided Games. May, June.
  • U12 to U18
    Regular League Play . 11 V 11 Games. May, June.
  • U13 to U18
    Premiership League Play. Top Teams compete at Schaumburg Olympic Park & other locations April May, June.
  • U9 to U18
    Northern Illinois Cup Play. 2 levels, 32 teams max per age level Preliminary Rounds first 3 weeks of season, Late April early May.

GIRLS

Fall 2009

  • Ages U8 to U14
    If Girls Teams accept the challenge of playing in the BOYS Division they can be ranked and play .
  • U14 to U18
    Premiership League Play. Teams compete at Schaumburg Olympic Park & other location. September October.
  • U14 to U18
    Northern Illinois Cup Play 1 Level . Preliminary Rounds September . Double Elimination October . November.
    NOTE: Teams are NOT required to participate in a league to qualify for eligibility.

Spring 2010

  • Ages U8 to U14
    Girls Teams play in Boys Division.

NOTE: The NISL will register any team wishing to participate in USYS events with the IYSA, for a small additional registration fee to cover costs associated with Dual Registration. Also provide the 3 minimal games as required by IYSA for Cup eligibility.
