The Northern Illinois Soccer League / N.I.S.L. was founded in 1975 as a competitive youth soccer league for Boys and Girls ages U8 through U19. It provides the day-to-day organizational structure for more than 1,200 teams in 86 Chicago area communities. It is one of the largest youth soccer leagues in the state of Illinois with over 1,800,000 people visiting the site per month.

Teams participating in IYSA Sanctioned Tournaments
need to have their US Club rosters and
IYSA medical waivers for all players plus the approved
tournament paperwork.

- US Club Soccer is a member of USSF which is the governing body for soccer in America.
- Insurance Liability - Same insurance company as IYSA. The form needs to be filled out for facility coverage with US Club Soccer.
- Insurance (Medical) – Same insurance company as IYSA. The form can be downloaded for coverage, and sent into the league office. There is a 90 day window plus players are covered for any soccer related activity including indoor.
- Hosting Tournament – Sanctioned tournaments are unrestricted for all teams and clubs at NO COST to the hosting club.
- O.D.P. Program – Open to all soccer participants whether Recreational/AYSO/Club Soccer/or any athlete not affiliated with other group.
- US Club Soccer has a selection procedure for identification to the National Program.
- Teams wishing to play State Cup or MRL will be registered in both US Club Soccer and IYSA to comply with their rules. Please email the NISL League Office the number of teams participating.
